Identity

Who do you think you are? True identity has nothing to do with your profession or position; your cultural or religious background; your financial or social standing; your beauty or fitness level; your personality or popularity; your political or world-view.   It’s not hidden in your possessions, your hobbies, your passions, your abilities or your generosity. It’s not based on your successes or your failures. You won’t find it in your spouses, your ancestors, your friends or your children. Wisdom seeks identity in its Creator, not in its creation. Art is a reflection of the artist. Music is a reflection of the musician. We, creation, are a reflection of the Creator. -PS
