Ovations & Accolades

When someone attempts to help you in even the smallest way, voice your appreciation. Do not withold thankful words. Beware that pridefulness may cheer for your silence; skepticism may question sincerity;  criticism may assess ability, but let wisdom overrule them all.   Humbly applaud and cleverly affirm their efforts. Failing to notice, outloud, suppresses the appreciation they long for. Silence is discouragement. It casually disregards their sacrifice.   Wisdom understands that encouragement strengthens a person’s inner confidence. So, let the bravos and accolades generously flow.  Your standing ovation will affirm their performance and maybe, just maybe, promote an encore.  -PS
