It’s mine. It’s my personal opinion – that’s all. It doesn’t seek to persuade. It doesn’t want to argue. It won’t condemn, accuse or belittle. It is not concerned with the majority nor does it boast in the minority. It needs no justification, no admiration and no commendation. It may differ from those in authority or with credentials or steeped in knowledge but that doesn’t make it wrong. It may agree with those in authority or with credentials or steeped in knowledge but that doesn’t make it right. It is not your job to change it, agree with it, analyze it or insult it. It is simply mine, without apology and without conceit, but with bold ownership, I shall protect it, because it is just my opinion. © 2014

Believers can rise above adversity, endure complexity, maintain simplicity, develop tenacity, overcome anxiety, depend on Divinity, and live happily. Circumstance may question faith temporarily. Conditions may disrupt rest briefly. Thieves in search of joy and peace may surround closely. Uncertainty may question continually. But for those deeply rooted, unashamedly convicted and firmly grounded; nothing outward can compare to this Strength found inward.
It is stronger than your situation, tougher than the worst of times, more powerful than difficult people, higher than your negative influences, deeper than your inner most longings, and more hopeful than the rose-colored view of the optimistic. It anchors the distressed, affirms the humble, strengthens the weak, comforts the lonely, enables the willing, lifts the hopeless, sustains the faithful and directs the seeker.
It will clarify your perspective, rearrange your priorities, carry your burdens, untangle your chaos, increase your gratitude and awaken your spirit. It will not, however, break down the door of your heart. It will not barge across the threshold of your mind and it will not trespass into the state of your emotions. It requires invitation. It waits for your decision. It embraces your desperation when you allow it, when you call upon it, when you draw close to it, and when your humble heart seeks it. Strength for today is available. Hope for tomorrow is certain and Love for a lifetime will be yours when the peace you desire becomes the path you choose to seek.

If Mother Nature has ears I’m sure she’s sick of all the complaining. If she has feelings, her heart is probably broken. Raindrops are amazing, beautiful and needful. They make puddles for little ones and reasons to open your ruffled umbrellas. Low temperatures are invigorating, cleansing and mosquito remedying. Cloudy days are cozy, relaxing and soup justifying. Gray is neutral, non-threatening and easy going. Appreciate this change. Cooperate with it. Notice it like a child, for the first time. See the performance it delivers and applaud the difference it creates.
